The French celebrate the conclusion of the French Revolution with Bastille Day, July 14th. The torrential downpours throughout the day gave us little to no hope on seeing the Eiffel fireworks. However after spending a few hours in the Musee d'Orsay the storms broke in time for a spectacular show.
I saw the fireworks there back in '94. It was some monumental anniversary date so the show was THAT MUCH MORE spectacular. I also remember it being the summer between my junior and senior year of high school and being as high as a kite. What I would do now to go back (sober haha) and see that city again. I truly loved it! Jealous!!
